“ I returned because my fate required me to. You should be grateful. That Savage Prince you’re so loyal to can’t ascend to the throne without me, can he?”

Exploring the intricate dynamics between characters like Soren and Rooke in "The Crown of Oaths and Curses" adds depth and complexity to the narrative, making it a compelling read for fantasy enthusiasts.
PROS
The contrasting personalities of Soren and Rooke create a tension-filled relationship that keeps readers engaged.
The underlying themes of trust, bias, and internal struggles add layers of emotional depth to the characters' interactions.
The world-building in the novel is immersive, drawing readers into a vibrant and detailed setting that feels alive.
The unpredictable twists and turns in the storyline maintain suspense and intrigue, ensuring that readers are constantly on the edge of their seats.
NOTE
On the other hand, and as I mentioned earlier, I would have liked to see more of the other realms within this world. I must also mention that, often, this can be a double-edged sword depending on how the author writes the characters. However, I appreciate that the characters don't always have the right answers. This doesn't mean that all their actions have to be foolish, but I like that there are internal battles within the characters and that their intentions result in more complex responses and actions towards others.
"The Crown of Oaths and Curses" promises an enthralling journey filled with intricate relationships, captivating world-building, and a writing style that effortlessly transports readers into a fantastical realm.

Synopsis
In a world where magical realms and ancient prophecies collide, The Crown of Oaths and Curses by J. Bree weaves a tale of intrigue, power, and destiny. The story centers on two main characters: a fierce warrior named Rook, and a brooding sorcerer named Soren. Both characters are thrust into an uneasy alliance as they navigate a kingdom on the brink of war.
Rook, known for her unyielding spirit and combat skills, harbors a deep-seated grudge against sorcerers, viewing them as the root of many of her personal tragedies. Soren, on the other hand, is a sorcerer burdened by his own dark past and the expectations of his kind. Together, they must uncover the truth behind a series of mysterious events that threaten their realm.
As they delve deeper into the heart of the kingdom's political machinations and dark magic, Rook and Soren's interactions are fraught with tension, misunderstandings, and an underlying need to understand each other beyond their prejudices. Their journey is not just about saving their world, but also about recognizing and reconciling with the demons within themselves.
The Crown of Oaths and Curses is a gripping fantasy novel that explores themes of trust, redemption, and the complex nature of human (and magical) relationships. With its richly imagined world and multifaceted characters, J. Bree delivers a story that will captivate readers and leave them eagerly anticipating the next installment.
